TABOO!?

The change I think we all want to see in the world in upcoming year is that nothing should be considered taboo. And nothing taboo should exist.
In literal terms Taboo means “a social or religious custom prohibiting or restricting a particular practice or forbidding association with a particular person, place or thing. And now days Taboo is the major barrier in the world for a developed, independent and equal society.
Few of the most horrifying Taboo Rituals still exist which is worse for humanity. Like in city of Varanasi, India, live Aghori Babas who are famous for eating dead. They believe that the greatest fear human being have is the fear of their own deaths, and that this fear is a barrier to spiritual enlightenment. So by confronting it, one can achieve enlightenment.
Another taboo still exist is that Famadihana, meaning “The turning of the Bones,” is traditional festival which takes place in Madagascar. The participants believe that the faster t5he body decomposes, the faster the spirit reaches the afterlife. They therefore dig up their loved ones, dance with their corpses to live music around the tomb, and then rebury them. This bizarre ritual is carried out every two to seven years.
More examples of Taboo include. In Indonesia, it is the taboo to have your head higher than an elder. In some cultures a woman is secretive about her monthly cycle. Nose blowing in public is a taboo in Turkey. And the list of Taboo will go on.
For today existing Taboo in the world are not the ritual practice, in fact these are the practices which make the society backward and narrow minding. Taboo not only effect the thinking of person even his or her body. It is one of the basic reason for the backword and underdeveloped societies all around the world. We all should stand against taboo this year.
