The most commonly used forms of mass media are print or written, broadcast or electronic and new media. Print media has played a great role during freedom struggle and eventually we got independence. It has a great contribution in proving information and knowledge. It is also the most popular and oldest form of advertising. As compared to print media, broadcast and new media are relatively new. Despite being new, Broadcast media and new media have gained an extreme significance among us. Other than providing information, it also entertains us. Broadcast media includes television, radio and new media includes internet, telephones etc. New media is the latest technology which gained its popularity among everyone in very short span of time especially among youngsters. It is faster than the old forms of communication. It not only provide us information rather gave us a platform where we can share our views and can give instant feedback. New age media has become the latest trend among youths. With the help of new media, communication has become more effective, easier and entertaining.
