The Bharat Ratna – Sachin Tendulkar and his family are a “casual labourers” and beneficiaries of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), says a Goa non-governmental organisation.
The NGO, Goa Parivartan Manch, on Saturday claimed to have exposed a scam in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment GuaranteeS, where officials and politicians have been listing fictitious workers and pinching their remuneration.
