This bill is passed only for votes. nothing else!! and moreover corruption is still eating our nation. loksabha and rajyasabha should pass the lokpal bill first.

i think all these bills are just on papers , what matters the most is the actual implementation and monitoring of such bills, which after looking at the current scenario of our country, i don’t think , is anyhow possible. so called commanders of our country are just busy in filling their pockets leaving behind the starving population of our country.

Food security bill is just an election security bill. We have fooled in terms different schemes, polices and programs. The subsidy has given to poor for rice, wheat, and floor but is their any subsidy for onion price 50-60, fuel price the basic other thinks required for cooking meal.

It is good that government has passed Food security bill, but we don’t have any reason to believe our government because of their lies and games they played with the poors, so I think the grains which will be distributed to two-third population of India, government also should get the same grains then only we people can think that our “Our Food is secured”.

V r world’s largest democracy & surprisingly, v hv managed 2 survive till nw, in-spite of all the hurdles & loopholes. But wat v really need is sustainability & not mere “survival”… Similarly, our Food Security Program could b the biggest in the world but if it fails to fulfill even the basic promises then wat is the use? Effective and efficient implementation of this program is what we need. Another major concern is its affordability.
1st impression is the last impression but last impression is the lasting impression. And this is definitely true in case of elections in India. The Food Security plan is great but greater is its timing i.e. just few months b4 the upcoming General Elections (2014). When hunger & starvation isn’t a recent reality of our country, y did such an effort take so long?? Y weren’t the Public Distribution Systems which were full of leakages “sealed”?? I feel its a bad idea to integrate the PDS with this new prog.
But as Indian citizens, no matter how much skepticism we display regarding new policies, our hope can never be nil.
Let me put the above (in the article) askd question in this way: for whom will this program really secure food- the 82 crore food-hungry ppl or a few money-hungry ppl???

To whom so ever it may concern: PLEASE SPARE THIS PROGRAM, atleast !

the bill has just been passed by lok sabha and rajyasabha.. president’s action is yet to come…and after that as usual the long wait for enactment of bill…
in the big history of India bills pass out in parliaments easily but the main question is when will it be implemented ??? maybe after the elections..
this bill more than helping the poor people India will help the riches or the corrupts of india…
No doubts its a great boon if its implemented the way its shown but again the question is will it be implemented the same way ??

Finally now the Bill has been passed by both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha but the main question is that how Government will acquire the food grains and can’t we assume this as another path hole of corruption ????
Are we eradicating the same or empowering it ?

I dont understand the fact why these bills are passed just before the elections .Why not after ?!
It can be a strategy for winning over people.Generally poor people are the ones who’s votes are used by these over smart politicians .
I hope this bill brings the change.. a positive change . .

According to me this is nothing but a tactic for the elections which are going to be held in 2014 to get more votes . if government really wanted to do something related to the food problems it should have done this earlier .

if our president passes the bil it will a owner for the people who are living under poverty line and the bill is to passed as soon as possible so that the people who sleep without having atleast 2 time of meal and there families and take a shy of relief . It is an owner to feel that the government is taking soo of initiative so that no one is below the poverty line.

Government has taken a good and a very big step to fulfil the needs of the people who are below poverty line. It is good effort made by the government. If this program becomes half successful then also this will be a vast improvement. But the question arises will this program be a successful one. For that we need to be patient and wait for the result.

There is no doubt that bring the food security bill is a good idea and it may help the poor people to get food in low cost…… But what about the quality of the food???????? I think it might not be of good quality …….. Mid-day-meal incident is the example……. Government should think on it that what type of food they are providing to poor people…… Garibo ko khana do jeher nahi……

Its a good article but I personally don’t think so that it can be going to help to poor people .
bring the bill is a good idea and its a good action….but what about poor people ?…
almost next to impossible as corruption in india…bills will work infact that time, there would be no need of bill…as people would be more sensible in future…..before our government need to be sensible…..it can’t helps to 82 crore’s people…..y don’t government go and eat that food …

maybe this is another political tactic to buy votes for 2014 parliamentary elections. But providing food grains at a subsidised rate to the starving population of our country make sense to me as long as it feeds them good quality food unlike mid-day meal and food grains are provided to the beneficiaries on time.

It is nothing but election gimmick…strange is the behavior of opposition. Government was in minority at many occasions during voting on various amendments of this so called food security bill.

bring the bill was a good idea and a also a good step also by the government but…… proper enactment of this bill is almost next to impossible as corruption in India in present era is almost a quick sand ,,,,,,,, from which the more force we will apply we will sink more quickly but if every citizen of the society starts showing a little honesty…… and perform their responsibility not due to duty,,,,,,, but dignity ……………
then we can expect that these kind of bills will work infact that time , there would be no need of bill……… as people would b more sensible in future
although before people our government needs to be sensible,,,,,
    !!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish i could arrange a asylum for the politician of our county ,,,,, as almost 95% of them needs a shock treatment ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zhear mein khana milakae dene se phele…….. ek baar wahi khana politician ek baar khud chakhe taki
KHANE KE REACTION K BAAD LOGO KE ACTION MEIN KOI CHANGE AAYE ,,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!

according to me…food security bill more should be called as hunger bill…because its need shows us that the half of our nation population still go hungry.Even after 66 years of independence there is a widespread hunger in country….what is causing concern to the congress govt that in the few months remaining before the polls it might not able to put its own trademark on the food bill, which could be appropiated by political rivals…..

As per my views the strategy of food security bill is fake and is only a way to rule the mind of the people and fix a fair picture of the leaders of various parties . As per the article there will be 62 billion food required for the poor gentry but I personally think this quantity of food will be given in front of the society by the government but the real infrastructure will be known by the poor zone how much food grains they will get I am sure only 6 billion of food will be given to the poor with plenty of mixture which will cause diseases in our country .

So , basically our government is not securing our citizens they are giving them low rate poison to end their life.

And being the citizen of my country I would personally opposed to pass the food bill because its only a eyewash for ordinary people and the whole sceme will be in favour of the government .
