Diwali

       India’s jam-packed festival calender where festivals are known to be the soul of the Indian tradition and diwali is one among those festivals. It is a celebration that broadly speaks of the triumph of good over evil. Showing the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana. Hence celebrating the homecoming of Lord Rama. This became the reason why people started lightening diyas and with passing time people started celebrating diwali with lights,crackers,exchanging gifts with their loved ones. People worshipped goddess Lakshmi known as the God of wealth and Ganesh,as the God of good fortune. Worshippers prayed for the well being of their families and prosperity for the heading year. People make various preparations before celebrating diwali like houses and shops are given rigorous clean up before being decorated with beautiful flowers,lights,rangoli. The streets gets filled up with the keen shoppers and fancy things. People purchases gifts like mithai (Indian sweets),with dried fruits and nuts for family,friends and their acquaintances. Indeed if there’s ever a time to experience India at its sweet and best, then with no doubts it should be during diwali.

       So let’s Light a lamp of love! Blast a chain of sorrow! Shoot a rocket of prosperity! Fire a flowerpot of happiness! Wish u and your family “SPARKLING DIWALI”.
